their families.

Here are a selection:

LANCE Corporal and father- to-be Matt Westwood, 29, based in Chester: “Tara,
missing you loads. Soon be home to see you and our new baby girl. Have a
good Christmas, and love you loads. Love Matt xxxx”

FUSILIER Brae-Scott Williams, 26, from Clydach, Swansea: “Sorry it’s my
fifth Christmas away I’ve been away. Don’t know what else to say but hope
you all get drunk – and have one for me.”
